The lodge & bunkhouse

Customers with large families or groups truly enjoy our lodge & bunkhouse. Both units are connected by a private enclosed front porch. They can be rented separately or together for larger groups.

The lodge  is a 2 bedroom 1 bath unit that sleeps 10. It has its own kitchen, big screen TV & is great for having your entire group together. This unit is great for large or smaller groups depending on how much room you want to have to lounge around. It is equipped the same way as our smaller units. 2 sets of adult bunks are located in each bedroom and an additional set of bunks in the living room. All bed linens are provided.

The bunkhouse is great alone or as an addition to the lodge. It’s a large room that sleeps 6 with a full bath but without a full kitchen. It has three sets of adult bunks, sofa, refrigerator, microwave, big screen TV & coffee maker.

Want to try your hand at cooking a Cajun dish? No problem. All units have kitchens equipped with a full size stove & oven, refrigerator/ freezer, microwave, toaster & coffee maker. We do not supply cooking or eating utensils so pack your favorite pots, pans & utensils to cook with.

With all the abundant gulf fresh seafood available dockside, you may want to boil some yourself. How awesome it is to sit and eat the fresh catch off the very boats passing down the bayou. We have a designated area just for that. Large picnic tables line the waterfront to allow you to eat while enjoying the breathtaking view of the area where the boats are catching your next meal.

Want a change of cuisine? We have BBQ pits available for your use located along the waterfront of Bayou Lafourche just outside your room. There is nothing quite like fresh BBQ red-fish. The recipe is so simple to prepare that you may never eat it any other way.

What you need to bring:

Towels - kitchen & bath

Cooking & eating utensils – pots, pans, plates, cups, forks & knives. Anything to cook, eat or drink with

Paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, coffee filters - Mr. coffee maker

Fish towels - saltwater fish are slimy. You will want several hand towels available for the day on the water.

Insect repellent & suntan lotion

Forgot something? Not to worry, we have several local stores to pick up anything you need.

Our rates are seasonal with discounts given for extended stay. Please call or e-mail us for current rates & discount information.

Monthly rates are available and based on time of year & length of stay.

Charter fishing customers booking with us are eligible for additional discounts.
